Launched in 1989 as a creative events and party planning company, our mission has always been to provide a personal and professional service to the highest possible standards. We go the extra mile for all our clients, from project concept right through to completion, delivering creative solutions that surpass all expectations.

Today, Theme Traders is an event management powerhouse. Based in North London but operating worldwide, we produce everything from traditional parties to brand launches, pop up events, weddings, festival experiences and so much more. Our client base is broad, producing phenomenal events for private customers and start-ups to big-name brands and FTSE 100 companies.

We’re immensely proud of our multi-talented and flexible team and offer full in-house service capabilities from our London production village. From design to technical consultancy to installation and everything in between, we can do it all. OUR ROOTS

There was no ‘events industry’ as such in 1987 when David Jamilly and Kim Einhorn founded Theme Traders. David and Kim were working as entertainers at children’s parties at the time, but soon conjured up with the vision for Theme Traders.

Initially they rented two lock-up car garages to work from, but within a decade they had expanded to a 2000 square metre facility with 40 full time team members and quickly became the benchmark market leaders in events and parties.

From early origins, the company strived to be the value driven organisation that it is today. We have proudly been the main supporter of the amazing ‘Pod Children’s Charity’ which organises 3000 free entertainer shows per year in all children’s hospitals across the country.

Beyond our core business, Theme Traders has been a key supporter of the events management industry as a whole and has offered lectures and educational visits since 1990 to many of the seventy universities in the UK which have events student intake.

While we have maintained an ever-growing number of core services to our clients across the years, Theme Traders has also managed to maintain pole position ahead of rapidly evolving socio-economic marketplace conditions and current trends. We have learned to grow and adapt with the times in order to provide the best possible service.

At present, a key area of focus is the experiential and pop-up phenomenon which is perfectly suited to Theme Traders expertise and resources. This includes full in-house capabilities and services such as cutting-edge designers and project managers, props and scenic workshops, technical rigging teams and full logistical support.

Theme Traders is also particularly renowned for the extreme parties desired by global jet-set billionaires and A-listers. The requirements of which often defies the realms of imagination and extends the boundaries of creative event production techniques to all new horizons!

Theme Traders now operates at top-level from a vast, unique dedicated creative production village in Cricklewood London.

THEME TRADERS PRODUCTION VILLAGE

Our extensive production village based in NW London is a unique and creative hub comprised of workshops, scenic studios, prop and furniture warehouses, design studios and of course our event office. We also have flexible warehouse studio spaces and meeting rooms for hire. Everyone is welcome to view by appointment so please do get in touch if you would like to pop by!

EVENT MANAGEMENT TEAM

Our experienced Event Management team plan and execute every project with passion and professionalism down to the finest detail. We understand budgets and how to squeeze the most out of them. We also understand the need to be creative and adventurous alongside being meticulous in our approach to preparation, scheduling, logistics and implementation. Whatever the challenges are our Event Managers will be with you every step of the way as your project moves from vision to reality with seamless efficiency and enthusiasm.

OPERATIONS & LOGISTICS TEAM

Our Operations team work around the clock to make any vision come to life. We have in-house experienced riggers and installation crew who take care of all the logistics for your project. From trucking and crewing right through to the H&S planning and clear up our Ops team work tirelessly to ensure the smooth delivery and running of your event.

THE WORKSHOP TEAM

Our in-house workshop offers a vast range of bespoke services and customisation. If you can dream it…we can make it! From woodwork and carpentry, scenic painting, printing and branding through to model making, sculpting and metalwork our talented workshop team love nothing more than a new challenge. We pride ourselves on being able to work to short lead times and find solutions for even the most impossible seeming briefs…you can even come and watch your vision being brought to life from our workshop viewing gallery.

THE DESIGN TEAM

Our super talented bunch of designers can inject innovation, originality and creativity into just about any project. From designing a stunning party or exquisite florals to bespoke set design, interior fit outs and brand activations we design with passion, purpose and practicality. Full visuals or 3D designs are produced by our in-house team for your approval before we go into production.
